A New Announcement

For the past several months, I've been working hard on a project which I'm about to unveil.

A web design firm.

I first started seriously building websites about a year ago, and fell in love with it. I love the creative logic that goes into laying out a website, and the fact that one website can affect so many people. I love working with graphics and learning new tricks. I love creating something influential.

As I looked around at the majority of web design firms, I was convinced that somebody needed to offer amazing yet affordable websites for small businesses. The web is what the phonebook used to be, and if they aren't "listed", they're going to have trouble finding clients and customers.

The reason why web design is so expensive is because most people code exclusively by hand. Although it is the best method of designing websites, it is very time consuming, which equates to lots of money. I've decided to go a different direction.

I start with a WYSIWYG design program which outputs very clean and standards compliant code. Then I dive into the code and tweak anything that needs it. This enables me to build an excellent website from scratch very quickly. This amounts to my ability to create websites which are just as good as their 100% hand-coded counterparts for a very low cost to my clients.

I also provide an equally affordable support plan for the people who either are not very knowledgable or don't have the time to set up a domain name, get hosting figured out, enable analytics, make backups, and all the other small things that go into maintaining a website.

I'm Caleb Grove

Yep, that's me. I'm a 17 year old web unicorn and own OnRamp Web Design. My skill base is quite broad, though my real focus lies in UX and UI design for the web. When it comes to designs, I'm a perfectionist, scooting 1 pixel at a time.

My main blog captures all my web-related thoughts that exceed 140 characters. Anson S is my personal blog, where I pander in politics and religion. You can tweet me on Twitter at @SirCalebGrove, circle me on , or friend me on Facebook.

About this site

This is my playground. CalebGrove.com harnesses the power of HTML5 and CSS3. It was built using my web design weapon of choice, Freeway Pro, using a inline flexible system. Responsiveness was hand-coded. The blogs are hosted by Blogger, whose template code was generated by the Blogger actions. Website hosted by GJX Hosting. Creativity provided a disturbed mind, and not much else.

No unicorns where harmed in the making of this website, except through caffeine overdose.
